Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325F.
- Prepare a cupcake pan with foil cupcake liners.
- Follow the directions on the back of the CK White Cake Mix and prepare the batter. Once the batter has come together, fill each cupcake liner with batter—about ¾ full. Bake until completely done—cool completely before decorating.
- Mix the following colors of Celebakes Vanilla Buttercream using Celebakes Food Color Gels: Peacock Blue (royal blue, sky blue and super black), Blush (pink and ivory), and Peach.
- There is a large variety of decorating tips used for
these cupcakes, so here is the layout and instructions for each color.
- Peacock Blue
- Pastry Bag fitted with a Large Star Tip, completely
filled with peacock blue frosting
- Pipe a rosette or frost cupcake in dollops. Paint the edges of the frosting using imperial gold dust mixed with confectioners glaze thinner. On the cupcakes with a rosette, add a dollop of either peacock blue or blush frosting—dust on a bit of gold glitter. On the cupcakes with star dollops, dust with a small amount of gold glitter.
- Pastry Bag fitted with Rose Petal Tip, with one stripe of
peacock blue frosting in line with thin end of tip and then filled in with
white frosting
- With the thin side of the tip facing up, pipe petals—covering the entire cupcake. Start on the outside and work your way towards the middle. For the center, use gold dragees and sprinkle on a small amount of gold glitter.

Tips:
- Make sure to not over-fill or under-fill your cupcakes. If you need to, bake one practice cupcake to get a good feeling for how much batter you should be using.
- The Gold Imperial Dust, Gold Glitter and Dragees are for decorative use only and NOT intended for consumption.
- Practice piping the flowers onto some parchment or onto a plate before decorating the cupcakes. This way you can re-use the icing without getting crumbs in the icing—they can be tricky!
- Use other Celebakes Food Color Gels and frosting techniques to achieve a completely different look!
